Guest guest
Someone on here posted a link a week or two ago about freecycle.org. Today, I got a food dehydrator, ice cream maker, dvd player and vcr- ALL FOR FREE! I am so excited because my dehydrator is on the blink, and I have been missing my raw food bars-the rest was a bonus! I plan on using the ice cream maker to make fruit granita-which brings me to a question. I know food remains " raw " if gently heated in dehydrator, but I am wondering about freezing food? Wouldn't that kill the enzymes? I am still quite new to this, so sorry if it is a redundant question. Again, thanks for info on freecycle.org. For those of you not familiar with it, go to http://www.freecycle.org and find the one in your area. It is where people GIVE AWAY stuff that would otherwise go to the landfill-saves the earth, and of course " One mans trash is another mans treasure " ! Have to go play with new dehydrator-RAW FOOD BARS, HERE I COME! Hsppy freecycling-my new hobby! Brenda TURN $5 INTO $5,000! http://www.geocities.com/berrywell/onlyfivebucks.html
