Scent of Health: Smell of Sweat (Was: You know you're a Raw Foodist When...)

Hi Jen,

Not Tommie, but hope you'll welcome this response.

As we improve our diet and lifestyle, our body begins to cleanse out old,

unresolved trash. Our pH rises, our hydration, oxygenation, circulation, and

elimination all improve dramatically. And as all this happens, every part of

us begins to look, feel, sound, taste, and smell differently, and for the

better!

Within the context of your specific question, every bodily fluid, including

sweat, takes on an entirely different and far more pleasant (or at least

less unpleasant, depending where you are along your path), smell and taste.

It becomes quite common to experience one's own smell as a reflection, at

least in part, of one's diet.

What we often fail to realize is that this has always been the case. When we

ate food that took days to pass through our system, and that therefore began

to rot rather extensively inside us, we smelled of rot. Now, we smell of

fruit and such. That our smell reflects what we eat is nothing new; only our

awareness is new.

Best to all,

Elchanan

[Raw Food] Re: Smell of Sweat (Was: You know you're a Raw Foodist

When...)

Tommie,

I was reading through your list on your blog and noticed you mentioned

something about the smell of sweat. I just recently noticed I smell

different, and was wondering more about that, in particular. When I got

running I smell sweet, kind of like brown sugar and honey (like Honey

Bunches of Oats, if any of you ever ate that ;P). Just curious as to

whether this is a good sign or a bad sign.

Jen
