Guest guest
Have you ever soaked and/or sprouted really raw wild rice? I have some here called Raw Eaters Parched Wild Rice that is suppose to be raw, but it takes a long time to soften up via soaking. What's your technique? Guest guest
Most wild rice has been pre-heated at high temperatures prior to sale, but the following website sells really raw wild rice (they call it " raw eaters wood parched " ) and this is the one that I have soaked for days and days but did not soften: _http://www.bineshiiwildrice.com/Wild_Rice.htm_ (http://www.bineshiiwildrice.com/Wild_Rice.htm) Wild rice gets soft super fast. I put 2 handfuls in my son's kids bowl and left it soaking in tap water for a few hours. I really dont remember if it was just 1-2 hours or just a little longer. It does soften. If you leave it over night, it splits open and is super soft. almost like white rice. I perfer the crunchieness of the wild rice that is why I use it. Ive never soaked any other rice before. vegwriter wrote: Have you ever soaked and/or sprouted really raw wild rice?
