Guest guest
Hey everyone... I have been seeing a nutritionist and she is wonderful. She has been giving me body wraps and I have gotten amazing results. She has just started me on a version of the master cleanser diet. She works with an herbal company called M`lis and they have a version of the master cleanser. Its basically the same as the master, except before you start, they have you do two days of nothing but vegetables and herbal supplements that they provide. I am now on the 4th day and yesterday was the first day of just the lemonade, my question is this, how do you all get past the hunger pains? My stomach will not stop growling, am I doing something wrong? I have been sipping the lemonade all day, and drinking lots of water, but the hunger will not cease.. ANY TIPS? I am glad to be cleansing and I can tell its working, I dont want to stop, but this hunger is really getting to me! Thanks in advance for any help! PS...does doing the master cleanser help lower candida?
Guest guest
Hi, I have never had hunger pains while on the master cleanse - i would suggest drinking a little more than you are drinking, and maybe increase the maple syrup a bit. Hope that helps! Guest guest
Normally, when I've fasted, the hunger is gone by the 3rd day and for sure by the 5th. BUT having said that, all people are different. Just ride it out. Shari

Guest guest
You actually shou;d not have hunger if you are drinking lemon-water. Have no idea of what you're doing, but I would recommend you read " The Rainbow Diet " or anything by Brian Clements before you do any cleanse. Have ten years of experience and knowledge to back what I am recommending to you. All cleanses are not the same; some may actually be harmful to your well-being. Guest guest
I have done this and the things that helped the most were to take nice warm enemas ( for some reason that just does not make me hungry) also keeping busy with your mind the first couple of days (I like to read alot) until you don't notice the craving anymore. (Do not read recipies I have sabotoged myself that way before) Dobby the house elf <dobeythehouseelf raw food <rawfood > Sunday, December 24, 2006 8:45:12 AM [Raw Food] need master cleanser advice Hey everyone... Guest guest
It sounds like you are not drinking enough of the lemonade. You should not be feeling hungry at all. Guest guest
I understand but professionals in this field for 50 years would not recommend the master cleanse. You must understand your body IS IN SHOCK. That's not the way to cleanse - to shock your body. Guest guest
Hi, I have done the master cleanse, once for 15 days, and some other times for 1-3 days. If you stomach is growling, it is good to have some more lemonade. It may not be for everyone. If you are eating a lot of raw food and have been for some time, you may not need to go on the master cleanse. Always trust your body, and listen to what it says to you. Especially if you have been in tune with your body. For example, it has been a long time since you have eaten the S.A.D. Good luck. ~Deanna
Guest guest
Agree.. Our bodies don't need any external " cleansing " agents; the only " Healthy " item in the master cleanse, coming from one who has used them previously, is the lemon juice. It looks like you've left out the cayenne pepper (which is great!). If you're looking for some rest for your body, why not consider just a short distilled water fast? then the body can do the best that it can do.. just a thought... best, Bob www.pathofhealth.org http://health.PathOfHealth rawfood , " Anne Kaspar " <bodybybliss wrote: > > I understand but professionals in this field for 50 years would not > recommend the master cleanse. Guest guest
Make that three of us, Bob and Anne! The body would produce mucus to rid itself of the toxins introduced by the " cleanse " . Eating lots of good, juicy, ripe, raw foods is cleansing in and of itself. And it builds the body up. It doesn't tear it down. Guest guest
Greetings, I agree with the folks who suggested adding more maple syrup & /or drinking more lemonade. I have done the master cleanse about 6x.... (Used to do it every quarter...) and i have not been PHYSICALLY hungry...(I have LOTS of cravings and i want to eat EVERYTHING) but when i've felt hungry i drink the lemonade & my tummy feels find...(my MIND is a whole other subject! :] ) Great health. love, peace, & happiness...angela rawfood , Dobby the house elf <dobeythehouseelf wrote: > > Hey everyone... > > I have been seeing a nutritionist and she is wonderful.
