Guest guest
Hello: I have just spent some quality time alone with me in the kitchen, tapenading 3 lbs of collards for New Year's Day (and the following days, as well. I have already grown some black-eyed pea sprouts, and, just to be on the safe side, some lentil sprouts (a friend from another culture told me she eats lentils, not black-eyed peas)-- okay, I just like lentil sprouts, and it was a good excuse. Anyway, as I was laying out the leaves, rolling them and thinly slicing them, I had plenty of time to think, and my thoughts went back to the training I took with Lillian Butler in Harlem, which is where I was introduced to the idea of massaged and marinated vegetables, which I have taken a step or two further.... Over the course of this wonderful lifetime, many men have seen fit to complain that I " think too much " . I have reflected on that idea tonight, as I have been thinking, mulling over my experience at , over and above the recipes I learned. (I figure it is as good a time as any to revisit what happened, now that 3 months have passed.) I have been thinking a lot tonight. I am wondering if anyone on this list has ever taken a training at with Lillian and Eddie. If so, would you be willing to share your experience with me? I went alone to the training, so I have had no one to talk with about what I experienced. Meanwhile, Happy New Year, all! Now,
