Guest guest
As far as rotating the antifungals, yes, that is kind of what I mean. Go through a full course of one, or a month or so of one, then do another. Look into the body ecology group. There is a raw body ecology group - Email me at SchoolOfRAWk and I'll send you the group info. I have been raw for awhile and now am only going to finally take the steps to really get rid of the candida, long term. Excessive nuts can exacerbate candida, as well as berries. Only do the tart green ones, I forget their name. Xylitol can cause massive diahrrea, might want to stick with stevia. You can make fudge out of that, I am working on getting the final recipe and will post that when I can. With stevia, you can make puddings and other stuff, too. Rejuvelac is controversial because it also grows wild yeast spores, so don't use it (unfortunately). Yes, use fermented foods like kraut (raw), of course! And you can make young coconut milk kefir and there is a spirulina fermented drink I am learning about. I just found out that kombucha tea is not good at the beginning of such a program, either. It seems limiting, but there is a lot you can do. You can make cookies with some almond butter, stevia, cacao and ground up almond meal and/or other stuff, I believe. It's a matter of creativity. But eat a lot of greens (energy soups) and other soups (celery/avocado base). No Braggs is allowed, either. But dressings with apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, maybe almond butter, garlic, and/or lecithin are fine. As are sea veggies. Guest guest
*Candida is a very specific mechanism by which the body protects itself from heavy metal toxicity in many cases. Yes, sugars, fermented foods, any processed foods, all of which have sugar in them, are disallowed. But what you probably need, seriously, is a cleanse and a liver and kidney cleanse after.* ** *After many years of personal and professional experience, I would highly recommend you research deeply into the best avenue for you to take because this is not just candida, this is your health and well-being. Long-term candida problems lead to a host of illnesses, some less severe than others. However, either way, you don't want them. * ** *Feel free to call me to review the literature you may wish or how you might be able to best approach a whole-body cleanse.* ** *Blissed be, Annie Anne Kaspar Health and Wellness Consultant BodyByBliss 19 Grasslands Trail Santa Fe, NM 87508 O 505.474.9699 C 505.690.0169 www.bodybybliss.com bodybybliss *
Guest guest
This is purely anecdotal, I know, but I just wanted to share that my candida problems disappeared once I cut the fat out of my diet, and just ate a high percentage of fruits and some greens. I did nothing else re: special foods, supplements, colonics, etc. From what I have read, candida organisms are always present to some degree in healthy bodies; the problem is when there is tremendous growth of the candida due to the body's inability to deal with the sugar present, which in turn is due to the presence of too much fat. Too often sugar is made the culprit, when it is really the fat that is keeping the body from utilizing the sugar correctly. Again, this is just my take on what I have read; but I wanted to be a witness to the possibility of dealing with this simply by a change of diet that can be maintained long term. Peace, Valerie
Guest guest
Candida are independent, living organisms, not a mechanism of the human body and not at its beck and call. Candida take off (thrive) in response to degeneration in the body's capacities to cleanse itself and to perform certain metabolic functions. One CANNOT " get rid of " candida -- this is quite literally impossible, without destroying one's own body in the process (and perhaps not even then). This is why we observe people repeating the same (or perhaps different, doesn't matter) cleanses perennially. They do not work because they CANNOT work. One can only create healthful conditions, such that the body regains its vitality and restores its normal cleansing and other metabolic functions. As this occurs, the candida no longer perceive the body as an attractive home and breeding ground. And UNTIL this occurs, the candida are performing a vital and even life-saving function ... they are cleaning up a mess that the body cannot clean up for itself, at the moment. (Whether blood sugar, metals, or whatever.) Just a shift in perception/understanding that I find constructive.
