Guest guest
OMG! That is my first reaction to watching this DVD. I want to thank Mark for sending me these DVD's. I will DEFINITELY be sending them on to other people and helping to spread the word. I knew I was eating wrong, and I have tried to go raw, but I never, never realized the abuse and destruction an animal based diet was causing. This DVD really opened my eyes, and parts of it horrified me. I will be changing my ways, and I now understand where I was going wrong before, and what I need to do to change my mind and body. I know that not everyone agrees on any one philosophy, or way of life. And I will not sit here and tell anyone here to go get the DVD or read this or do that, but I wanted to give my reaction and opinion to it. My only negative thing I can say about the DVD is it doesn't tell you meal ideas or sample menus or show sample dishes....so off to the web site to Learn more..lol! Thanks again Mark! Guest guest
Hello, Sure you can add my comments. I was wondering, does air popped pop corn count on this type of diet? I have a hard addiction to pop corn (no buttery or salty--I just like the crunchiness) and have been trying to figure out if this is something I can keep in moderation or if I need to (yikes) give it up! lol..ANY input would be appreciated. I plan to order the Rave book when I get back from my vacation in 3 weeks, and until then I am eliminating animal products as much as I can and looking for things I can eat. I have a lot to learn and need to figure out some base menus to get me started! Thanks for the fat free web site, I will go there and take a look around, and feel free to use any of my comments for anything, I am not the type to worry about such sillyness..lol! Thanks! Hi Dobby yours is a pretty common reaction from people watching for the first time. I'd recommend you watch it every 6 months lest you forget. Would you mind if we added some of what you say to our website ? The RAVE diet book contains lots of recipes - or www.fatfree.com is a useful resource that costs nothing. good hunting Tim

It's something we only ever see in cinemas, and then it's mainly covering the floor and stuck to the seats - our cinemas don't seem to employ cleaners. Is it different from ordinary pop-corn? I think you'd have to ask Mike Anderson that one to be sure. If it is made from just whole corn with nothing else added or taken away, I suspect you're OK, so long as you don't eat only that and never eat anything else : ) Remember the acronym. Guest guest
Doesn't it take a high heat to heat popcorn? Im not for sure but I dont think its 100% raw. - Jen Raw Journal: http://g2bthin.blogspot.com/ Dobby the house elf <dobeythehouseelf wrote: Hello, Sure you can add my comments. Guest guest
The EATING DVD is the first thing I show any client at all, and it really doesn't talk about enzymes or raw. It is just INCREDIBLE. Awesome to see everyone loving it, too! Guest guest
Hi -- A few comments about hot air popcorn. 1st - it's not raw. Popcorn gets heated over 400 degrees in order to pop, I checked which leads me to #2. When you are first starting off (transistioning) you might do things that later on you might not. When I first started off - I was traveling and for 1-2 wks hot air popcorn and cornchips got me through the 'what the heck am I doing' moments - very few cornchips but hey I was hungry and I already had eaten 3-4 bowls of salsa at the mexican restaraunt. The next day I figured out they had a lettuce/avocado/pico de gio (sp?) salad -- that was a better choice -- but hey I was just learning.... That being said, if it helps you to transition there could be much worse choices and popcorn is 'pretty' healthy in a relative sense. And besides you'll change your view after you are more into the RF thing. #3.That CRUNCH -- celery fills all crunches and does it with flavor once you get used to it. A bowl of chopped celery & tomatoes, tomato celery blended soup, Bananas & celery, celery & celery... #4. If you want to do a cold turkey - get healthier quicker method of transitioning, skip the popcorn and mainstream raw diets and go straight to the 80/10/10 --- which is what I would advise my children/sisters/elderly parents --- people I love... but I used popcorn and I'm 100% RF - 80/10/10rv now and I've lost a LOT of weight too. Go with the flow, life changes and then... the universe looks different (or something) Simply, Lesa TRIMMED ORIGINAL POST rawfood , Dobby the house elf <dobeythehouseelf wrote: > > Hello, > > Sure you can add my comments.
