Guest guest
Me again, new to raw here. I am the only one going raw although I have my family taste everything with me. I was so proud that they all had a green smoothie with me this morning. The hardest thing for me is when they are eating my favorites, pizza and mexican food. So I am seeking alternatives. Could someone please share their favorite pizza sauce and salsa recipes? I've done searches and there are so many! I am very pleased that there are so many sources and recipes for raw foods but I find it overwhelming too. If you have something tried and true to share, I'd appreciate it. Guest guest
Hi Jen, > Could someone please share their favorite pizza sauce and salsa recipes? I'd love to hear a pizza sauce recipe as well! In the past, I'v made one with tomato paste, soaked sundried tomatoes and italian seasoning blended, but I'm pretty sure the paste isn't raw. I am a big fan of mexican food, too! For salsa, here's a link to my favorite recipe: http://goneraw.com/recipes/show/23 Cheers, Kandace
Guest guest
For pizza sauce, you don't need to use any cooked or canned ingredients! When you use fresh tomatoes and sun-dried ones, you get the equivalent of tomato paste! In fact, cooked tomato sauce is one of the easiest recipes to replicate as raw.
