Hi Julian,

Several years ago, I read a couple books on macrobiotics, bought a

couple cookbooks and tried a few recipes. I was very intrigued by the

stories of healing cancer, etc. But the actual food just never

appealed to me enough and what I tried didn't taste very good.

Something in me kept me searching. I have always been interested in

what we as humans are " meant to eat. " While it took me awhile to find

what made sense, thinking about it in that way has been helpful. What

do we seem designed to eat? What would we eat in the wild, without any

equipment? What tastes good without being messed with?

What seems to answer these questions for me, and what feels best as I

continue to eat more of it, is mostly fruit, some greens and veggies.

Although the first time I heard that (about 2 yrs. ago), I couldn't

imagine how it was possible.

If you would like any links to resources I've found immensely helpful,

let me know.

Take care,

Laurie
