my nephew was just diagnosed with this " degenerative bone/joint

disorder " He is only 11 (but VERY tiny for his age and has NO growth

hormone so my sister and her hubby have been giving him injections of

growth hormone/steroids every week since last May)

He was a TOP athlete (hockey player) but now forced to give it up due

to his hip pain and the new diagnosis

Yes, from day 1 he has had a CRAPPY diet and I have always suspected

Celiac He started with soy formula and before age 1 was eating

gummy bears and had 2 rotten front teeth by age 18mo. He craves for

and Lives on macaroni and velveta cheese, sugary stuff, bagels and

cream cheese....eats some carrots and grapes and rice....little meat

but not much and all cooked and commercial of course he is also

given drugs at the drop of a cold or anything (his father is a

Pharm.company V-Pres).

anyway, I am just a Crazy ole sister that is been advised to just

stay out of it....that Diet plays NO part at all in the development

of this and it will not at all remedy it.

does anyone know anything about this??

Yes, Kieba, just 2 things.

 

1. Diet not only plays a role, it virtually controls what is happening.

 

2. You cannot help those who will not be helped. Better to attend to your

own emotional and other needs; perhaps when they become desperate enough

.....
