How many lbs did you gain back > from it if any at all. aha! the first time I did the Master Cleanse for 10 days, I lost about a pound a day. I think that was about 12 lbs. total. I wasn't doing it to lose weight specifically, although that was a nice side-effect. I did not gain back that weight. I kept on dropping pounds after that. each time I have done the fast since, I have taken off about a pound a day. It is a good way for me to get back to basics, if I have gone nuts and gone up a size. I dont' think you can use it to take off a huge number of pounds, though, and I think you have to keep up a reasonable eating plan to keep off the weight after it is gone. I mean, it doesn't just disappear. It is hiding somewhere, waiting to jump back on your hips, and you have to want it to stay away enough that you will change your eating habits to keep it off. If I get into eating too many crackers, or if I eat a lot of delicious raw " concoctions " , i.e. fancy dishes, or if I consume too many calories, I can expect to see those pounds right away. If I eat simple healthy dishes, and if I follow my diet plan closely, and exercise regularly, I have no trouble keeping the weight off. there is no quick fix. taking weight off and keeping it off requires, at least in my experience, a lifestyle/eating habits change.
