Hi Everyone!

My name is Jennifer and I am so lucky to find this group! I've been

wanting to go raw for a while, but I just haven't had the push to do

it yet. Now, my DBF (who I live with) is ready to start with me and

I'm excited. I've been doing a lot of research online and have

found a lot of great recipes and information. However, I have a

couple of questions I wanted to ask you guys:

1) What kind of appliances do you need to " cook " with? I have a

Jack Lelane Juicer (which I love) and a Magic Bullet (which I don't

love!)for grinding. I have mason jars for sprouting. I know I need

a dehydrator, but what kinds do you recommend? Anything else I need?

2) What are your experiences with not going completely raw? While

my DBF wants to lose weight, he also wants meat once or twice a

week. He doesn't really want to completely convert and doesn't

quite understand my commitment to RF! Is there any way to assuage

him that still fits with the RF lifestlye?

3) How do you plan your meals? In otherwords, how do you choose

what to cook (by what's in season?) and how far in advance do you

start preparing your meals? Do you always have the dehydrator going?

4) Do you remember what you did with all of your food before going

raw? Did you eat it up first or give it away?

5) I read that you leave food out a lot in order to dry it out. I

have cats that love to climb on my counters while I'm not home. Any

suggestions and/or experiences?

Whew... sorry for the ton of questions, but I'm a little nervous,

especially of the cravings I think I'll get at first for some french

fries!

Lots of Love,

Jenn
