Guest guest
Welcome and congratulations on your new lil bundle of joy. And Kudos to you for choosing raw-it will benefit her SOOOO much. My 12 year old daughter is totally raw-I only wish I had kept it that way from the very beginning-you have such a great option here to raise a child completely raw from the get go. As for sprouting, it couldnt be easier. I highly recommed the Kitchen Crop sprouter, as the rinsing part is nothing more than pouring water in one tray, which funnels down into the other trays. I have had quite a few different sprouters over the years, and find this to be the easiest, by far. I was lucky enough to find mine, new in the box, for a dollar at a thrift store, but you can buy them online for about 12 dollars-well worth it. Everyday, I harvest three trays of sprouts-super delish in salads and for juicing. My daughter is the envy of her school because of her sprouts-her Principal comes by every day to see what kind she has. We do alot of green and yellow pea sprouts, lentils, fenungreek, chia (think chia pet) chickpea, brocolli, mung, alfalfa, radish, clover, sunflower, etc. We have never met a seed we couldnt sprout-and DONT WORRY about not having a green thumb-I didnt used to be able to keep a cactus alive! All you need to do is soak your choice of seeds in lots of quality water overnight, then drain them and chuck them in the sprouter. Add fresh rinse water 2 or 3 times a day, and you will have fresh sprouts in two or three days. My 12 year old often does the sprouting-super simple. All those lovely enzymes would certainly be beneficial to you little one in your breastmilk! Glad you joined us. Email me if you want any more info about sprouting, I am the Queen of Sprouts! LOL I also have alot of food allergies, so might be able to help you identify what your daughter is reacting to-the first thing that popped into my mind when you mentioned chocolate was soy, as soy is in all or most chocs.
