Guest guest
hello Alix.. I read your post with enthusiasm.. I recent read up a little bit on " the secret " as well.. in fact, on another list I am on, someone posted the 100 top reasons of the secret which I read with great excitement. I noticed the sentence you used was " If eating a salami sandwich make you feel good then eat it, your thoughts are creating your feelings etc.. " . keyword here is IF.. thing is, eating a salami sandwich DOESN'T make make any of us here feel good. it's not that salami itself tastes bad - in fact, it's pretty tasty which I'm sure many who once upon a time ate the SAD diet will agree.. but, we now have a very different outlook on meat and other " foods " because we took the time to educate ourselves that things like salami sandwiches aren't really food.. they're garbage, and part of someone else's body ultimately. at any rate, I can see and understand that you're feeling pretty defeated at this point in time.. but don't be.. ok you fell off the wagon..the kewl thing is, you went and tried all the things you once enjoyed and gave up for various reasons, and WHEN you put them back in your mouth again, your first thought was that you expected them to taste as wonderful as you remembered, and then the wakeup call came through and you found it was crap in your mouth. this is a GOOD thing! because of this negative experience, along with the bellyache you got afterwards, I'm willing to bet you'll never do it again so dear Alix, don't beat yourself up too badly over it.. just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and put it down to experience, and then get back up in the driver's seat and grab hold of the reigns! incidentally, I fell off the wagon recently too..I bought some beautifully ripe avocados and made a gorgeous bowl of guacamole..the bad part was, we happened to have a bag of plain Doritos in the house and the kids said " oh just have one mom " and I kept saying nooooooooooooooo because one will lead to another and another..so I thought ok then, I'll have one with some guacamole on it..and by god it was soooo damned good that before I knew it, I'd eaten half a bag and a fair portion of my homemade guacamole. I felt so terrible for going off the deep end like that, and beat myself stupid over it. and then my friend Corrina told me what I've just told you..these things happen.. it's trial and error. and at the end of each trial, you learn a lesson hopefully. if you've learned your lesson, then kewl beans anyway, I hope I've helped you a litle bit anyway take care Alix, you're very inspirational you know YS Silver DD
Guest guest
Hi Silver, Thanks you very much. I completely agreed with you. And i take it cool with myself, we learn how to fall before learning how to walk. I understood to that in my life i m looking the perfect health and a blossomed beauty and that raw food is the best way to have it with my actual mental structure about food. And i feel relief aswell because i don t feel any false frustration i did what i wanted to do so i m free. And if tomorrow i want to eat meat again i will because my actual choice are my freedom not a prison. It s my liberty it s a personnal choice not an obligation. I do it because i want to be optimal and for me it s the best way to be optimal. I wish you a very good day and you ve got a beautiful name silver I m interested to read the 100 top reason of the secret and to read a lot about it.
