Guest guest
I love using sunflower greens for smoothies and salads but the big issue growing them is pulling the hulls off. Takes a lot of time. When mature a lot of the hulls fall off but the ones left on take a long time to pull off. Any ideas? Thanks, Paul
Guest guest
OK, so I answered my own question. When harvesting sunflower greens, cut the greens, then soak them in water overnight and most of the hulls that didn't fall off will just rinse off.
