Guest guest
Hello everyone, Once again, I've started with a 100% raw diet. I'm looking for simple things to eat. I went on a mad avocado binge the first week, then ate about 10 spoons of coconut oil in one day a few days ago. Oddly enough, I felt fantastic after it. I guess I was depleted of fat, because now I can't even look at either of those things. Although I've always hated bananas, I ate one on impulse yesterday and enjoyed it. My life is pretty busy and I'm on the go a lot so not having easy foods to take along has been a drawback. I'm missing a few molars so eating hard fruits like apples is almost out of the question, unless I blend them first. Any tips on take-along foods would be great! I'm also wondering why after 10 days, I haven't lost a single pound. Normally I drop 10 pounds the first week and this time I haven't been eating so many nuts or dates. Has anyone here ever converted their non-raw, meat-loving immediate family? I'm not cooking for them anymore and haven't in quite a while since I've been pretty much vegan except for the occasional bit of cheese. I can't stand the smell of meat and my husband loves it so he has to cook for himself if he wants it which he's done so far without complaining. I look forward to meeting you all and hearing some success stories! Sharon from Vancouver Island, Canada
