That's a great story! Very amusing :)

3 weeks ago I had a snowboarding accident...I was coming off a

nar-wicked jump in some off-piste area, and there was a single tree

which I didn't see on the way up, so then coming down I was a little

off balance and boom, couldn't miss the tree. I must have hit it

about 30-40 kph, my pelvis taking the impact from the left side. I

was lucky I was able to make it mostly a glancing blow, so I bounced

off instead of coming to a dead stop, which likely would have broke

both my back and pelvis.

Anyway, once I got home and back onto raw food, my daily improvement

was phenomenal! Some days though I didn't eat well...like KD and tuna

(yuck!)... and the mornings after that there would little improvement

compared to the day before. Then, going back to raw, the next morning

I would have substantially increased mobility and feel less pain, etc.

Its been 3 weeks now and I can walk without limping and almost ready

to run again, and I can easily use my rebounder for exercise too! My

chiropractor is very impressed with my recovery time too! :)

It was also very interesting watching how my body reacted to the

injury. On the day of and day after the accident I lost about 10

pounds, even though I was still eating. They say that that's because

the body quickly draws on stored resources to heal a traumatic injury

like that...and since most of my stored resources are highly alkaline

and come from great dietary sources, I guess that helped my recovery

that much more. I've heard stories of mountain climbers breaking a

leg or something, and losing HALF! their body weight in just a few

days hiking themselves out.

Overall its been a great experience for me :) haha
