I dealt with Randy Skaggs once and he is not a pleasant person. Julia on the other hand gets out there and saves animal lives daily, and at all costs, while making animal and human friends as she goes. She has a huge heart and is an all around great person. Please help her to put Skaggs in his place once & for all by donating.

Successful rescue depends on driven and dedicated people. One of the most dedicated is Julia Sharp. I don't have to tell you how important Julia is to the lives of animals in Rowan and other counties. Because of her animal rescue and advocacy activities she has been sued by Mr. Randy Skaggs for allegedly making defamatory statements. If Mr. Skaggs prevails, Julia's ability to help might come to an end. Like most of us, Julia does not have funds to pay an attorney to defend her. Fortunately, she has found an excellent attorney who will represent her, but there are legal costs associated with litigation; these must be paid by Julia.
