Guest guest
****Cross Post Freely****REMINDER:Protest Presidents: Novartis & Bristol-Myers Squibb(Pictured left to right: Cornelius/BMS, Pelzer/Novartis, Andreotti/BMS)Focus: Huntingdon Life SciencesJoin Win Animal Rights, this Sunday, as we turn our attention once again to the people who run the companies that allow Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS) to continue the killing. Right now, Huntingdon Life Sciences (trading on the NYSE Arca as LSR) is concentrating all of their effort on a management buyout spearheaded by Andrew Baker, CEO of Huntingdon Life Sciences.HLS is a company whose primary business is death and suffering. 500 animals are killed there every day. Every one of them had a mother, who mourned their loss HLS CEO and primary shareholder, Andrew Baker, doesn't care about the 70,000 animals that are imprisoned in the cold steel cages and concrete runs at Huntingdon Life Sciences, where they wait to die. His motive is greed and all he cares about is enjoying the good life and his multi-million dollar apartment overlooking scenic Central Park. Join us as we express our anger and outrage for the 180,000 animals that die every year at HLS.The best way to stop the killing at HLS is to influence their customers. The individuals that we will be visiting on Sunday have the power to discontinue the contracts that allow HLS to torture and kill animals daily. All of our protests are peaceful and legal. In many places across our country there is a movement to make home demonstrations illegal. There is a reason for that. They are very, very effective. Please come out and participate in these legal demonstrations for as long as we still have the right to do them. Sunday, August 16, 2009 @ 3:00 pmWhere: 400 E. 51st St. (at 1st Avenue)New York CityAfter the initial protest, we will be walking to the westside. Please wear comfortable walking shoes or bring carfare if you wish to take the bus or train to the next location, which is about a 20 minute walk. Bring water and sunscreen if needed. Posters, banners and literature will be provided. Just bring a loud voice and your dedication to use that voice to speak up for the animals who suffer in silence.
