Here in the U.S., folks are busy getting kids back to school

and settling in for the fall. Where ever you are, we hope you'll take a few

moments from your busy schedule to read our exciting updates in this

e-newsletter!

While we work toward future technologies for sterilizing

cats and dogs without surgery, there's an existing product with great potential

to extend reach of sterilization in communities around the world. EsterilSolâ„¢ is

an injectable sterilant for male dogs, and through ACC & D's new EsterilSol Small Grants Program (ESGP), we'll help approved NGO's in non-U.S. countries get

started using this technology. Please read on to learn about how the ESGP might

be able to help your organization. And if you're able, please consider

contributing to the=2

0program. Just $4 can pay for an injection to sterilize one

dog!

You're already a fan of ACC & D. Now you can become our fan on the new ACC & D page on Facebook! We also have a Cause for our EsterilSol Small Grants

Program: "Sterilize a needy dog with a $4 injection". Plus, we've added a "share" function to our web pages, so you can

share content through your favorite social media program. Read on

for details, and please join us!

Finally, we'll be at PetSmart Charities' Feline Forum next

month in Chicago. We'd love to see you there!

Wishing all the best to you and yours,

Si

ncerely,

Helping nonprofits make use of injectable sterilization

EsterilSol is an injectable

sterilant for male dogs which results in permanent sterilization with one

treatment. EsterilSol is the Latin American brand of Neutersol, which is

FDA-approved, though not currently available in the U.S.

EsterilSol has particular

potential in communities where pet owners are resistant to surgical castration,

or where surgical neutering is unavailable. The EsterilSol Small Grants Program

(ESGP) will help non-U.S. nonprofit organizations get started using this

technology. Grants will help cover training-related expenses and will match the

organization's initial purchase of product.

Apply for a grant

If you believe

that EsterilSol and this grant program may be a good fit for your organization,

please visit our ESGP page on our website to learn more about applying for a

grant.

Sponsor a grant

Whether you donate $4 to sterilize one dog or $3,000 to sponsor a full grant, your support will make it

possible to sterilize dogs who could not otherwise be sterilized. You can learn

more and make a donation through our website or through our cause on

Facebook.

ACC & D is proud to sponsor PetSmart Charities' Feline Forum next month in Chicago. Our colleagues,

Dr. Julie Levy and Dr. Margaret Slater, will be discussing non-surgical=2

0contraception and sterilization in their session, "Future Tools to Control Free-Roaming Cat Populations".

ACC & D president Joyce Briggs will be in that session and available at our table in the exhibit area. Stop by and say "hi"!
