Popular tv show passes off stabbing killing of cat as comedy! The animated sit com called FAMILY GUY broad casted on FOX aired an episode September 21st at 8:00 p.m. central standard time depicting the lead character stabbing a cat to death in front of his family and friends. One character said 'I don't think you should do that' and the stabber, who was now saturated in blood said 'they have nine lives' and THEN PROCEEDED TO STAB THE CAT (WHO SCREAMED) 8 MORE TIMES. Each time the blood splatter was more severe. They then loaded the dead cat into a car and showed it covered with a blood soaked towel. ALSO, at the EMMY awards FAMILY GUY showed a clip of a child beating a dog mercilessly to a bloody pulp. Let's let FOX know that they are actively contributing to the abuse (undertsatement) and devaluing on companion

animals.

Yeah Patricia, that's all I could find also in the way of commenting on programs. Seems they really don't want to hear from anyone but their precious sponsors. I'm writing them now. Thanks for that!

If a child can "get it", why can't adults?

Thank you very much for this post. We dont have a TV, but watch some Fox shows on-line. I contacted FOX from the link you posted, thanks again, and said we would cease to watch the shows we do like if I heard of other such "comedy". I work in a place where I see and talk with hundreds of people a week, and will tell as many as possible about this if it happens again.

My only request is that if other such episodes air, could you post another alert? I would not know otherwise. Thank you.-Kate
