Whether you agree with Wayne Pacelle or not, this petition is a major step in attempting to get genuine, first-time representation for the animals in Washington DC.Read the "CHANGE AGENDA FOR ANIMALS"http://action.humanesociety.org/site/PageNavigator/Change_Agenda_for_Animals--- On Fri, 12/11/09, Brennan Browne <endspeciescide wrote:Brennan Browne <endspeciescideRE: Tell Obama animals need a voice in the White HouseendspeciescideDate: Friday, December 11, 2009, 10:19 AM

Put Animals on Obama's Agenda

Dear Brennan,

Did you know that there are 18 different agencies that oversee animal welfare? That's why The Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society Legislative Fund are asking the Obama Administration to appoint an Animal Protection Liaison in the White House -- someone who would work with the agencies and Congress to advance animal protection policies in an ongoing and sustained way.

We have a goal of 50,000 signatures. Please sign the petition, and be sure to tell your friends, too. Thanks for all you do for animals.

Wayne Pacelle, President & CEO
