So far this month, 18 cats and dogs have been rescued and are in new homes, and a hoarder situation is happily solved for everyone. Volunteers and school students helped make the Beirut Marathon a success for the animals, and we welcomed new advisors to our team. A special holiday card telling the story of the rescue of Kira and Big Mama remind us all of how much we can accomplish together. This was the seventh annual marathon, and Animals Lebanon made sure that everyone shared our love for animals. Hundreds of runners joined our group and officially ran for Animals Lebanon, giving us all a boost to keep us going on the cold and rainy morning. read more GOOD NEWS ON HOARDING SITUATION - It has been almost four weeks since Animals Lebanon was contacted by the Municipality of Beirut regarding the case of an old lady hoarding a large amount of cats. Thanks to an outpouring of support in Europe and a wonderful group of people in Holland, 12 cats were recently flown to homes in Europe.
