Ethiopian native, Houston physician, and president of the INTERNATIONAL FUND FOR

AFRICA (www.ifundafrica.org), DR ANTENEH ROBA, guest on this week's program,

compares slavery to the slaughterhouse after his recent visit to the slave

dungeons of Ghana where he was attending an international vegetarian conference.

He tells us about the vibrant vegan and environmental movements in Africa, and

the wonderful Black History Month benefit his non-profit is planning for the

Herbst Theatre in San Francisco on February 12th - " SOUL FOOD-FOR-THOUGHT " ,

created to improve health for African Americans and support environmental
