We wanted to remind you that the early bird registration deadline for our 4th International Symposium is next Friday, February 12. The symposium will be held April 8-10, 2010, in Dallas, Texas, U.S. Click here to find out more or here to register now!

There

are also discounts available for our Organizational Partners, students in related fields, and nonprofits based outside the U.S.

Think the symposium is just for scientists? Think again! Sessions will include:

an overview of the status of non-surgical sterilization (what's available, what the future may bring)

an interactive session to establish priorities for products for feral and free-roaming cats

a full day focused on non-surgical sterilization for male dogs (available on a limited basis now, but on the way to much broader availability)

Visit our symposium home page for details on the program, speakers, CE credit, volunteering, call for posters, information on how you can help promote the symposium, and more.

Please contact us with any questions or comments. We look forward to seeing you in April!

Sincerely,

Joyce Briggs, President

P.S. Please forward this e-mail to your friends and colleagues who may be interested in this one-of-a-kind event!

Two More EsterilSol Grants Awarded!

Animal Balance and Veterinarians Without Borders-Canada approved for funding

We're delighted to announce that that we have awarded two more EsterilSol grants to organizations well-poised to make great use of this non-surgical sterilant for male dogs!

Animal Balance will use EsterilSol in campaigns in the Dominican Republic, Galapagos Islands, and Samoan Islands (where their next campaign starts in less than two weeks!).

Veterinarians Without Borders-Canada has made great strides using EsterilSol in Todos Santos, Guatemala. With this new grant, they are looking forward to introducing this new tool in Mafil, Chile.

Both organizations focus on building sustainable programs through partnerships within the communities in which they work. EsterilSol is a particularly good fit for these programs, which are based in communities in which people often refuse surgical castration of male dogs. ACC & D has been honored to know and work with both these organizations and we are confident they will use this non-surgical sterilant effectively to reach more male dogs.

We would like to thank the Pegasus Foundation and Handsel Foundation for sponsoring these two grants!

We look forward to helping more dogs through our EsterilSol Small Grants Program. Please forward this message to others who may be interested in applying for or sponsoring a grant!

Want to learn more about EsterilSol? Join us at our 4th International Symposium for a full-day session on chemical sterilization of male dogs, including training and an injection demonstration!
