My Dear Rescue Friends,Last week, we worked a miracle at this shelter which is still fresh in my mind. So many of you helped me bring attention to the beautiful 2 mastiff's that no one wanted but they so deserved to be saved...and they were. You offered a donation and you crossposted. It was amazing work.This week, our dear friend Margaret has been posting pleas for help for these extremely beautiful puppies that will die on Wednesday but not one single offer for help has been made. Not only did it make me sad but it made me determined to try and help.To pull dogs from this shelter, a 501c3 is needed. However, there is another way to save a life. If you would want to pick out a puppy (or puppies) and offer sponsorship for that puppy, it

makes it more possible for a rescue to save that puppy. So many rescues are overwhelmed financially right now and the only way they can help a pup in need is if the vetting/boarding needs can be met. This is where sponsorship is so important. Not one of us last week had a 501c3 but with $600 we saved two huge dogs. That covered vetting, boarding, food, transport and future needs. I really want to make an extra-human effort this week to save some of these babies. If you think you can part with $10, $20, or more, please let Margaret know. She keeps really careful track of sponsorships and does a thorough follow-through after wards. Tonight and tomorrow is critical. Puppies must have rescue secure before Wed. morning or they will die via heartstick (If this is not correct Margaret, please correct me).
