Welcome to the group.

 

Eating out can be very difficult. You will get used to the sort of things you can get in various places - sometimes a salad or baked potato with beans is the only thing you can get - other times there are more adventurous meals.

 

I hope it all goes well for you, with not too many problems.

Hello to everyone. I am a new member and want to thank you for letting me part of your group.My husband and I have recently made the decission to go to a vegan diet. We have been doing some meals vegan for several weeks while we eat up some not vegan items we had in our home. For the past week we have been on a total vegan diet. It just makes me feel better, I feel less tired and more focused and more able to handle the pressures of my job and just life in general. Have others felt these changes? What other types of changes have others experienced. I have even lost a couple of pounds even though that was not my intention. I have found that the most difficult part is eating out. We don't live in a huge city so there are not many vegan resturants. I did find a website that lists some common eating places and what is vegan so that helps. I am learning to ask questions of the wait staff on what things are cooked in. I was just wondering if others have found eating out a challenge or maybe some tips.Thank you again for letting me into your group. I look forward to getting to know everyone and share anything I learn.Amy
