Dear all,

At last, we are proud to announce the forthcoming launch of a website for

everybody involved in the global whale watching industry. Bringing together

enthusiastic groups of like-minded people from communities across the world,

Planet Whale will provide a free, independent and unbiased platform for whale

watchers, boat operators, businesses, scientists and conservationists to connect

with each other. It's a bold ambition, and it will only become a reality with

your support and involvement.

PLANETWHALE.COM will be:

1. A fun, inspiring online community, where commercial whale watch operators can

reach the world's whale watchers - and be rated by them.

2. A values-driven ethical website that will raise the standard for global whale

watching, and inspire millions of people to connect with nature and each other.

3. A comprehensive search facility where you can track down the worlds' whale

and dolphin trips.

4. A place where the world's most ethical whale watch operators will be rewarded

for their efforts

5. The first port of call for people to share their amazing whale and dolphin

experiences

6. A place to find out about the latest jobs, research opportunities, courses,

and events.

Planet Whale will be a community controlled by you! Planet Whale's mission is to

provide a network that is accessible to the global community through simple

organisation, accessibility and multilingual content provision. Together we can

all be ambassadors for whales and dolphins . . . and we're going to have a lot

of fun doing it!
