The Osawatomie Kansas animal shelter is at capacity right now.

 

All of the dogs LISTED HERE WILL BE KILLED ON TUESDAY Tuesday April 13th and are to be considered VERY URGENT!

This will be their very last day, there is no space at the shelter for new dogs to come in so space has to be made. There are many wonderful dogs who are in DESPERATE NEED of rescue or adoption.

Male Sheltie mix. This sweet dog came in as a hold and the owners were going to come and get him. Then after several attempts to reach them they have not comeL He is very sweet, a little shy at first but warms up fast. He is a clean boy and hates to mess in his pen. He hasn¹t given me any issues with other dogs since being at the pound. His time is beyond up because I thought he was going home and now it looks like he will die because his owners didn¹t want him anymore and didn¹t bother to say something L Please help if you can.Male Shepherd/Hound mix. He is a big boy tall and lanky, I would guess his weight to be close to 80 lbs. He behaves well on leash and gets along well with other dogs. He came to the shelter with the Mastiff mix for chasing hogs so he

would need to go to a home that does not have pigs. He is current on rabies.Male Black lab ­ he was rescued from a bad situation and now may die L He is a very nice dog, would make a great family pet. He does great on leash and gets along well with other dogs. He is approximately 2 years old.Female hound mix ­ very nice little girl. She is approximately 1 year old and 45 lb.Female Red Lab ­ super sweet. Good with kids and other dogs. She is approximately 1 year old . She kennels and will sit on command but has been cooped up for a long time so she will need a refresher course. She would make an excellent pet!Male Chocolate lab pup, approximately 7 months old! A complete charmer to be around but very active. He has been cooped up for a long time. Please don¹t let his life end at the pound before it has even

begun.All of the above dogs are urgent!! The last day is Tuesday April 13th.
