Calls & Letters are URGENTLY needed!!!-Man killed 1 Dog and AC allowed him to keep the 2nd one!!!!

Letters and phone calls needed. One animal still in imminent danger. Why ac left the animal in his "care" is beyond me.Please cross post~Matthew Scott England first drug 2 pit bulls behind his car for miles..killing the first one. The second one lived after he beats it on the side of the ride (according to witnesses) he assaults a woman that tries to intervene, takes the dog back home to 203 Hoffman Street in Lowell and according to the court order “Tied the dog by a rope and collar over a porch rail, which caused the dog to be suspended in the air and choked the dog,†and when Gaston, NC law enforcement arrives, the offendor is arrested but the surviving dog is NOT removed from the home. Reggie Horton, director of Gaston County animal control, said officers determined the dog did not need medical treatment." I guess this dog will suffer a similar fate as the other when this piece of filth gets out bailed out of jail.

Where is this dog and what the hell is wrong with this picture? And does North Carolina really want more focus on their state for its already corrupt animal welfare division and control? Somebody needs to send a wake-up pill or long overdue letter to this state's governor, Bev Perdue on, "Can we do anymore stupid things to make our state look more ignorant than it already does?" A Clover, S.C., man faces two charges of cruelty to animals after police say he dragged two pit bulls down the street and beat them Sunday, causing the death of one of the dogs.According to magistrate’s orders, Matthew Scott England, 25, of 256 Gateway Farm Road, Clover, S.C., dragged a gray 1-½ -year-old pit bull named Smokey for at least half a mile by the collar and chain, then held the dog down on the street by the neck, choked it and beat it about the head with his fists, according to the order. Then England “threw the dog over his shoulder like a

sack,†according the order.Smokey died as a result of that treatment.According to another order, England dragged a black pitbull named Scarface for at least half a mile by the collar and rope and beat the dog. England also “tied the dog by a rope and collar over a porch rail, which caused the dog to be suspended in the air and choked the dog,†according to the order. The dog was found by Lowell Police Officer J.D. Scott at 203 Hoffman Street in Lowell and released.England also faces a charge of assault on a female for hitting a woman that tried to intervene.England was placed in Gaston County Jail Sunday under a $10,000 secured bond. Charlotte Observer article: http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2010/04/20/1387419/man-accused-of-dragging-beating.html#ixzz0leLDcvgbMatt England, 25, of Clover, S.C. appeared in Gaston County Court Monday on two charges of cruelty to animals and one charge of assaulting a woman.According to the police report, England dragged two pitbulls down the street near his girlfriend's home until one of them died. The assault charge stems from an altercation he had with a friend who was begging him to stop.England told NewsChannel 36 the accusation is a misunderstanding. He said the dogs, Scarface and Smoky, escaped and were running on I-85, according to calls made to 911.He says Smoky was hit by a car, and he was trying to get the dogs home.Witnesses told police his treatment of the dogs was

cruel. One caller to 911 told the dispatcher, "He looks like he’s killing these dogs by the side of the road."Another described a man hitting the dogs outside a plant on his street."There’s a man out here beating a pitbull that just done been hit by a car and he’s just beating it. I asked him, 'could I give it a ride', and he’s just beating it," says the man, who did not want to be identified.People who had stopped to help him corral the dogs tell NewsChannel 36 he slammed the dogs on the ground once he got them home. The smaller dog, Smoky. was dead."The little dog was just laying there when I pulled up, just lifeless," one man said. He asked not to be identified for fear of retribution. He said England tied the other dog very tightly to the porch. A Lowell police officer noted in his report that the pitbull was "being choked" when he pulled up.The surviving dog was not removed from the

home.Reggie Horton, director of Gaston County animal control, said officers determined the dog did not need medical treatment."_________________The Gaston County District Attorney, the Honorable R. Locke Bell (and his staff) will be prosecuting the case.
