Thank you for telling Discovery Communications not to air "Sarah

Palin's Alaska." Opposition to the show

continues to grow. And if anyone at Discovery thinks the furor is about to die down, they have another thing coming to them.

 

 

 

Next week, Discovery Communications will hold a shareholder meeting in Washington, DC. In advance of the meeting, it's important

that we bring as much pressure to bear as possible. Let's show the Discovery shareholders that it hurts their brand and their

bottom line to get into bed with anti-environment extremists like Sarah Palin.

At CREDO, we've already collected over 215,000 signatures in opposition to the Palin show. That's more signatures than we've

ever collected on one action. When combined with our allies (notably, Defenders of Wildlife), the number of people who've

asked Discovery to cancel the show shoots to over half a million. Those are numbers that are bound to give any television

exec heartburn.

 

 

 

But we need to do more. Can you help us generate another 25,000 signatures before the shareholder meeting begins next Wednesday?
