as animals, the environment, AIDS, poverty and war. I will outline the

provisions of The Animals' Platform, a blueprint for animal advocacy that can

also be applied to other progressive movements seeking to achieve greater

political influence.

Speaking Opportunities with Kim W. Stallwood

I am pleased to announce that I am planning my 2006 speaking engagement

calendar, and am available to address animal rights and other social justice

groups.

My 30 years of personal commitment and professional experience with animal

advocacy organizations in the U.K. and U.S., and my role as editor-in-chief of

The Animals' Agenda magazine, have given me special insight, and I look forward

to sharing these observations with like-minded organizations and individuals. I

am especially excited about the evolution and implementation of The Animals'

Platform, which I developed last year with input from renowned experts in many

animal protection fields.

Plus it may be possible for Tom Regan to join me!

Please contact me to learn more about how we can work together on these

important issues. My E-mail address is kim.stallwood.

About the Animals and Society Institute

The ASI is an independent research and educational organization that

advances the status of animals in public policy and promotes the study of

human-animal relationships. The ASI formed in mid-2005 as a result of the merger

of the Institute for Animals and Society and the Society and Animals Forum. IAS

was the former Animal Rights Network (publisher of The Animals' Agenda magazine)

and SAF was originally called PSYETA, Psychologists for the Ethical Treatment of

Animals. ASI's Co-executive Directors are Ken Shapiro and Kim W. Stallwood.
