Guest guest
Dear AAPN Colleagues, I am forwarding this request from the UK. Please contact Kate directly if you can provide information. Best wishes, Grace Grace Ge Gabriel Deputy Director Wildlife and Habitat Protection Department International Fund for Animal Welfare www.ifaw.org Hello, I am working on an Asian version of the UK Prosecutors Pack (see attached) and could use some help. Do you know of any information at all about the link between cruelty to animals and violence towards people from China or anywhere in Asia? In particular, I need the following: 1. Any specific examples of people who have been convicted of violent offences after harming animals. 2. Any research/studies about this issue conducted in Asia 3. Examples of a person being convicted of sexually harming an animal and later a person. 4. Any cases of animals and people being neglected by the same person(s). 5. Any convictions and sentences for perpetrators of cruelty to animals 6. Any organisations who work on this issue in Asia. 7. Quotes from experts regarding this connection. In order to cite examples, I will need to see newspaper clippings etc so anything you can email or send over would be greatly appreciated. Do let me know if you can help, or if you have any further queries. Thanks a lot - hope all is well there!
