More than 85% of the world's fur products are imported from China, a country

where there are no animal welfare regulations. " IDA joins activists worldwide

and musician Paul McCartney in asking for a boycott of the Beijing 2008 Olympics

and all products labeled 'Made in China, " says IDA spokesperson Kristie Phelps.

" We hope that China will end cruelty to man's best friends in the Year of the

Dog. "

Los Angeles protest photos and press conference

Here is a link to a video of mainly the press conference from the event that is

Bill mentions the first few countries that joined up in the beginning for the

international protest.

I will submit to the press before all of ours, a complete list of countries

involved.
