Guest guest
A dozen golden langurs dead at the Chirang, reserve in the hearth of the Bodoland ring the alarm bells.WE HAVE ALMOST LOST THE VULTURE AND HOW CAN WE ALLOW THE GOLDEN LANGURS (HIGHLY ENDANGERED) TO BECOME EXTINCT. This should force the conservatists to ring the alarm bells. Altogether eleven langurs have died in a month .(January) The Primate Research Center , which is evaluating the death of the langurs said post mortem was not possible because they were reduced to bones and stray bits of fur when they found them. The golden langurs ,endemic to the region are found in the State only in the western parts and Bhutan. The International Union For Conservation of Nature and Natural Resourses has put the langurs on its critically endangered list. It is feared that viral poisoning from different types of plants could be the reasonbehind the deaths.Let us all join hands to protect the species , please help. sangeeta goswami,People for animals, Guwahati ,Assam.Mobile 94350 13328. web:- www. pfaassam.org What are the most popular cars?
