Three reports have come in from the Nandurbar district of Maharashtra. This is for the first time that this disease has been reported in India. However, there are no reports of infected people. A team of microbiologists have been stationed at the poultry and various tests are being performed. The area has been sealed off and no one is being allowed inside so that the virus does not spread.
