An avid campaigner for the protection of horses, she is showing her support for the cause by posing for an advertisement for animal rights organisation, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia-Pacific. It comes with the slogan in Malay which means Horses are our companions - help animals in need through your sincere contributions. PETA is launching the ad here in advance of the F1 race at Sepang on Sunday. In an email, PETA said, Corinna has been fighting for the protection of animals and helping the organisation " behind the scenes " for many years. " Again and again, Corinna has saved horses from being slaughtered, sponsored abused 'throwaway' horses in Turkey, and helped to provide medication for neglected working horses, and she also fought actively to get the first Turkish Animal Welfare Act passed into law. " PETA said Corinna and her husband were quick to come to the rescue of horses and other animals that were suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, US. Corrina was quoted as saying: " Horses are very sensitive creatures and all too often are treated very badly. They need our protection and our voices.
