A house is being built at the beautiful Jungle Lodge for the professionals 100 meters from the worksite. International professors will participate in teaching the courses. The students will study at the University (UMS) in Kota Kinabalu Sabah and at the Sepilok Orangutan Center also in the jungle. The University of Malaysia Sabah will issue a certificate of completion for the given courses. Important benefits to Sabah Working under experts in their field, the students will gain expertise allowing them to work in zoological gardens, veterinarian clinics and safari parks the world over. Schools of animal behavior in other countries have had to close down for lack of wildlife. Sabah will benefit from an increase in academic levels through exposure to international scientists, publication, documentary films and videos. This can benefit also the whole of Malaysia and be pilot project for other countries to follow in the field of education, preservation and rehabilitation. These courses will increase the importance of Sabah as a nature tourism site. Sabah has the unique sub species of elephants { Pigmy Elephants ) and the proboscis monkey. We hope to be allowed to participate in Sabah's efforts to protect these and other highly endangered animals species. BOOK TO BRING ALONG: Each student should choose one book to bring along from this short list: The Theory of Island Biography (Princeton Landmarks in Biology - Robert H.
