Aside from some crucial needs still left of unfunded projects we have repaired what was damaged and improved much more. The main path has been laid with concrete flooring and a drainage right up to the end of the wall which reaches to the stream outside which will prevent future flooding. The three cattle sheds built by the government are complete. photo here: It was Mrs. Maneka Gandhi supreme efforts to convince the government to help us that accomplished this and much more. For our operating expenses in January we are obliged to our patron The Winsome Constance Kindness Trust. The Marchig Trust generously gave veterinary drugs. Olive Walker donated the vet cat animal birth control training and the miracle of a cat operation room with the help of Assoc. of Vets for Animal Rights. Margaret Gebhard, Jane Courtney and Sharon St. Joan very generously helped us get through the February expenses. Thank you also Sharon for the updates on the new Best Friends online network. After sponsoring cow sheds the Marwaris are now contributing much to our cattle feeding fund. Hats for our workers and dog collars were received from Petsport USA. We now need financial donations to pay off expenses for March, April and beyond! We sell our fruit grown at the shelter and produce biogas and this helps. As always we are indebted to Animal People News for their advice and assistance. With continuing gratitude we remain in your service for the animals.
