The most benign picture from the gulag

In The Brothers Karamazov, Dostoevsky writes " the whole of creation is not worth

the death of one innocent child at the hands of a sadistic torturer " .

 

Well, I have seen the terrified face of a child. In fact, two of them, hugging

each other in terror. Look into their eyes and imagine, just for a moment, this

is your innocent child. Is there anything you would not do to save her? Would

you not lay down your life for them? Their natural mothers did.

 

These are pictures of children who have 99.5% of the genetic make-up of your own

children.

 

This is the most benign, least gruesome picture I have. I didn't want to offend

your sensibilities. The others are immeasurably worse.

 

The " sadistic torturers " are the butchers in lab coats, the vivisectors in our

gulags of terror. Ever wondered why the butchers in the supermarket and the

laboratories have the same tailor?

 

The vivisectors euphemistically call themselves doctors. But they are liars and

con men, sucking greedily on the public purse for handouts and squeezing

kickbacks from the drug companies.

 

These " quack doctors " are cunning, they employ their own highly paid " spin

doctors " from advertising agencies. They know that a glib, well crafted sound

bite from a photogenic talking head can persuade the masses that any atrocity is

is a virtue. They create an Orwellian world where truth becomes a lie and a lie

becomes conventional wisdom. Repeat it often enough, dress it up in dross and it

becomes holy writ.

 

This is what happens in our " animal testing laboratories " day in day out. Where

90% of the results are junk . . . where statistics are falsified to get another

grant . . . where thalidomide was given the green light and applause. . . .

where cruelty is cash. . . . where the tears of a child doesn't melt the heart,

it is the ink on a pay check.

 

Every bit of this so-called " research " is a lie. It is unnecessary, useless and

a shameful con on the community. You have been sold a dud by fairground

charlatans who won't get off the gravy train. They have expensive cars to run,

private school fees for their kids to pay, and egos that need to be stroked. It

is the ultimate scam - and you are paying for it with your taxes and other

innocent animals are paying with their lives. A Harvard educated Mafia don could

not devise a more exquisite rort.

 

So, what are you going to do about it?

Remember, for evil to prevail all it takes is for good people to do nothing.

Remember, for every man (or woman) who is just a little bit brave, there are a

million who will step aside to let him lead.

That said, I am asking each of you to be brave. Take the lead. Scream if you

have to. But don't just do nothing.

 

At the very least, make the profiteers squirm. Ask a few simple questions - of

your doctor, pharmacist, hairdresser, shampoo or make-up sales assistant.

 

-Was this product tested on animals?

-Does it use animal body parts?

-If you don't know, can you please find out? Yes, I'll wait 'till you do.

-Can you offer me an animal friendly alternative? If not, why not? Surely you

are not condoning the cruelty?

-Finally tell them you have no intention of supporting them in future until they

give you answers - and will tell every person you know to do follow your lead.

-Call your local politician and read the riot act. You are paying their wages.

They work for you.

 

As I said, don't just sit there like a log. Do something.

 

Unless of course, you are comfortable looking at the attached picture. If you

do, then don't look in the mirror. That would be a truly terrifying sight.
