Guest guest
The repatriation of 53 orangutans from Thailand back to Indonesia is again delayed. This time the military coup has done it. The Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation and the Wildlife Friends of Thailand who were to facilitate the repatriation for the Indonesian government have been told that the Indonesian Navy plane cannot land in Thailand until further notice. The plane was to pick up the apes. We believe that under the new rule the conservation of wildlife will improve. It is expected that we will receive a new date soon for the rescue of the apes.
