Guest guest
Good news from Nanjing Dear John, The recent dog culls in China have horrifed us all but, in the midst of this carnage, we cautiously offer a small ray of hope. Please visit the following page on our website for more information on my meeting with a local shelter for 600 dogs, together with the Nanjing Police Department and their decision to adopt humane measures to control the stray dog population. http://www.animalsasia.org/index.php?module=3 & menupos=10 & lg=en We are requesting all our supporters write a letter of thanks, c/o Animals Asia, that we will pass onto the authorities at a later date. Many more animal welfare groups across China are also giving us cause for hope and, together, we are developing responsible pet care initiatives, as well as providing advice and materials for a " Respect Companion Animals " Roadshow in many cities to coincide with World Animal Day in October. Please support our work to create change for both wild and companion animals in China. Warmest wishes, Jill Jill Robinson MBE Animals Asia Foundation Hong Kong
