I just want to tell everyone about an ad showing on Australian TV. Whilst it is

not Asian I feel it is relevent whilst the discussion about Elephant Polo is

going on.

 

Lotto here has a catch phrase that winning lotto will make all your dreams come

true.

 

In the ad a seal walks down the street into a newsagency. He hands the woman at

the counter his ticket to see if he has won lotto. He has and he is pleased.

Next you see a pool, the same as the ones we use to force seals to perform for

us. Then a man comes jumping out of the water and lands on his knees and hands

on a rock. He then balances a ball on the end of his nose.

 

Then you see seals sitting around in the auditorium clapping the human and

laughing at him.

 

These seals have seen their dreams come true by reversing the roles. I think the

ad is wonderful even though they have used seals to make it. It demonstrates how

the seals must feel.
