Guest guest
hongkongdogrescue <hongkongdogrescue »¡¡G Hong Kong Dog Rescue deplores the cruelty of the Bejing government in their plan to cull so many dogs. This is cruelty of the worst kind, causing not only unimaginable suffering to the dogs but also the owners who love their dogs. It must be made clear to the rest of the world that this is how China deals with its problems. Many people have a very romantic image of China, but this is the reality. Everyone who plans to visit China for the Beijing Olympics must be made aware of the suffering that is planned in the run up to the event. There are alternatives to beating dogs to death. This is a totally unnecessary act and we can only hope that the Chinese government is made aware of the revulsion wordwide that their cruelty is causing. Here is another link I found other advocate's action site in the States, which includes more email links to try: http://www.care2.com/c2c/groups/share_detail/68/213855 Besides, those confiscated dogs wouldn't be allow to live for long, albeit the government this time didn't show too much cruelty in front of the media when they took away the dogs. And some news even said the police are feeding them. But think about that there is no government run asylum in this country and how could they afford to raise that many dogs forever? The government this time is not going to leave any pictures because they become dodgy after the international condemnation in Aug this year. Some indicated that the poor dogs will be transferred to some other place then killed and the meat will be sold!
