Jane,

Below are the email addresses of the people who should have an interest in this.

I doubt there will be a response from the Egyptian end, but when the gorilla and

chimpanzee were killed in 2001 CITES Geneva issued two press statements and they

do seem to be taking this as seriously as they can under all of the constraints.

Kenya Airways is the one group that is taking note of this, and while the Gulf

News article only mentions them briefly, as you saw from the Africa Geographic

article there is a far more serious problem then just this one case or even a

handful of cases.

.... a few hundred emails to the CEO would force a response from them, people

could even ask that they put something up on their website ...

CEO of Kenya Airways -

Titus Naikuni

Egyptian officials -

Dr Talaat Sedrak Ghobrial

Head of the Egyptian Management Authority for CITES and Standing Committee

His Excellency M. Amin Ahmed Abaza

Egyptian Minister for Agriculture

And lastly CITES -

Willem Winjnstekers

CITES Secretary General

John Sellar

CITES Enforcement Officer
