Guest guest
Houmous has been a staple for us with our three. Quinoa is popular too, I often cook our basmati rice with half quinoa just to boost the protein a little. We eat very little soy, the kids do eat nuts and seeds, they had them ground up in food from an early age, and I make sure they have some kind of beans, peas or lentils every day. They love Indian food- dals, pakoras, curries, just about anything. My nearly 2 yr old will eat a plate of plain chickpeas, and my niece will eat lima beans from the tin. I often make spreads with beans, nuts, seeds and sometimes veges, so they eat something really nourishing with their bread or crackers. My kids love tahini, they want it added to everything, soup, rice, beans, and they eat sandwiches of miso and tahini. I just try to vary our diet, expose them to lots of tastes, and make sure they have some nuts or seeds, fruit, veges, beans or lentils, and cereal each day. It works for us! Hope you find what works for you. Naomi ______________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
