Guest guest
HI My name is Kate and I'm new on here. I have a 14 yer old who a year ago decided to go vegetarian. I decided to let her make her own decsion on this as even as a baby she did not like the taste of meat. I have tried to give her a balanced diet but am starting to worry that I am not giving her enough. My local doctor tried to get her to eat meat then the podiatrist told her her bones wouldn't grow if she didn't eat meat. I buy the vegaterian sausages, burger patties, roasts. I make a lot of things with tofu, chickpeas, lentils. Is she gitting all the nutrients she needs to grow. She love exercise and is extreamly fit. The only reason the rest of my family doesn't eat as much vegetarian as her is my youngest and myself have coeliacs so that rules out a lot of the vegetarian stuff as it is made with mostly gluten protien. Thanks Kate
