sigg safety

Robin, I remember this came up almost a year ago, so I went and looked

and found the following in the archives.

 

FWIW, we use Sigg because my kids and I prefer their sports top to

what the Kleen Kanteen has (at least back when we bought ours).

 

Yeah, they're pretty much indestructible.

Thank you so much for digging this up, Liz. I feel better about the Sigg; so

far it has held together and not leaked in my daughter's bookbag.

Also, Sigg is made in Switzerland and not in China like Kleen

Kanteen. Kleen Kanteen does state they visit the factory 4-5 times a

year. However, with all of the Chinese product recalls, we feel safer

with the Sigg. I have a co-branded Kleen Kanteen and it has dented

but never leaked. It makes a terrible noise when drinking from the

sport cap. We just got our Siggs and love them.
