I don't know about any safety warnings on the Sigg bottles. But I

personally prefer the Klean Kanteen bottles. They are stainless steel

rather than the aluminum of the Sigg. Ours are pretty beat up (dropped on

pavement, etc...) but still holding up. I really like that they have a

sippy cup lid for the little ones! My one year old loves it! And my 3 year

old loves her sport cap one.

We had Klean Kanteen and another stainless brand. Both leaked after being

dropped a few times.

We use Kleen Kanteen too, and really like them. We have four different

sizes of bottles, but the lid size is the same for them all -- so we

have a nice assortment of different lid styles and just grab whichever

type we're in the mood for. I first heard about them on this list and

then a little shop near me started carrying them. They don't have a

lining in them to get damaged if the bottle is dented, so they're safe

for rough kids. And, I got our last name engraved on them so we can

always identify them.
