Child Care Referral

Greetings,I am in need of temporary childcare for my 3 years old daughter and 10

months old son. I am not from this area and have no idea where to begin. I need

to find someone by Monday, February 18, to provide daycare for my children over

the next 3 weeks. Our family resides in southern Prince George's county,

Maryland. We are vegan and my son is still nursing exclusively. Ideally, I am

looking for someone who can accommodate our needs and lifestyle, and can be

trusted. I have never left my children with anyone for any extended period of

time. This is a bit nerve wrecking for me. I would greatly appreciate any leads.

I am interested in the experiences of others good and bad. It helps to know who

to steer clear of. Thanks in advance for you assistance.

Are you near a university? I have found two different vegetarian

babysitters through our small local university (one was vegan). You

will probably need more than one to cover the time since they are

students. That's twice the work checking references and such but it

may be worth it. Contact the career services department of the

school. You can ask that staff members be included so that you may

get interest from a more mature person as well. Just a thought.
